About Wellwick
A Consulting Firm That Works Differently
We are a Hong Kong-based consultancy focused on delivering practical, measurable improvements to the organisations we work with — without unnecessary complexity.
Back to HomeOur Story
Built for Practical Impact
Wellwick was established by consulting professionals who spent years working within large advisory practices and felt a persistent tension: the clients who needed the most attention were often the ones receiving the most generic work. Methodology decks and framework presentations were common outputs. Sustained, senior-led engagement was not.
We set out to build a different kind of firm — one where every engagement is time-bounded, clearly scoped, and led from start to finish by the same senior consultants who won the work. No handoffs to junior analysts. No dependency on retainer income that dilutes incentives.
From our offices in Tsim Sha Tsui, we work with businesses across Hong Kong on specific operational and organisational challenges. Each of our three programmes addresses a distinct issue — margin performance, talent retention, and business continuity — because focus, in our experience, produces better results than breadth.

How We Work
Quality Standards and Working Principles
Every Wellwick engagement is governed by a consistent set of professional standards — from the initial briefing through to final delivery.
Confidentiality Protocol
NDA agreements are signed before any information is shared. Client data is never used in other engagements or disclosed to third parties.
Structured Scoping
Each engagement begins with a detailed scope document agreed by both parties — defining objectives, timeline, access requirements, and deliverables.
Evidence-Based Methods
Recommendations are grounded in data collected during the engagement — not pre-formed conclusions or copied frameworks from unrelated industries.
Senior-Led Delivery
The consultants named in the engagement agreement are the ones who carry out the work — no delegation to unsupervised junior staff.
Written Deliverables
All engagements conclude with documented outputs. Verbal briefings are supplementary — the written report is the official deliverable.
Compliance Awareness
Consultants maintain awareness of applicable Hong Kong employment, commercial, and privacy regulations throughout each engagement.
Our Perspective
What Drives Our Approach to Consulting
Business consulting in Hong Kong occupies a wide spectrum — from large multinational practices with significant overhead and marketing budgets to independent advisors working informally. Wellwick occupies a deliberate middle ground: structured enough to deliver consistent, documented outputs, but lean enough that client fees fund consulting work rather than administrative infrastructure.
The organisations that tend to benefit most from our programmes are those facing a specific, identifiable problem rather than a vague desire for transformation. A management team that suspects margins are being eroded by a combination of pricing inertia and procurement inefficiency — but lacks the internal bandwidth to investigate systematically — is well-suited to the Margin Enhancement Programme. Similarly, an HR function that has observed rising turnover among a particular employee segment but cannot pinpoint the drivers is a strong candidate for the Talent Retention Consultation.
Our Business Continuity Testing programme addresses a different kind of concern: not a current problem, but a potential vulnerability. Many organisations in Hong Kong maintain continuity plans that have never been properly tested under realistic conditions. Tabletop exercises conducted by an external facilitator surface gaps that internal teams, through familiarity, tend to overlook.
Across all three programmes, the common thread is specificity — a defined scope, a senior consultant, and a written output that the client can act on independently. We do not position ourselves as long-term retained advisors, because we do not believe that model always serves the client's interests.
